COVID-19 Re-Opening

On May 4, 2020 the Alberta Government, in the staged plan to reopen the province for businesses, has approved few allied health professionals to return to hands-on patient care. We are pleased to confirm that with approval from our provincial regulatory board and the Alberta Government, Century Wellness will be reopening effective Tuesday May 12, 2020. However, at this time our registered TCM Acupuncturist, Registered Massage Therapists and Certified Athletic Therapists are not included in this initial stage of opening and will be updating their return to work under the directions of Alberta Provincial Government.

Century Wellness will be incorporating pre-screening protocols for COVID-19 to ensure health and well-being of our patients and staff before booking appointments for our patients. We will have incorporated additional hygienic and cleaning procedures for the purpose of infection control and prevention.

1. Cleaning common areas: Throughout the clinic, commonly touched areas will be cleaned regularly after each patient

2. Cleaning treatment rooms and equipment: All treatment tables, equipment and therapeutic equipment will be disinfected after every use

3. Hygiene practices: There are multiple hand sanitization stations for staff and patients to use before and after treatments. Sink basin and soap station is available for practitioners to use before and after each treatments

4. Surgical Masks: One time use surgical masks will be worn by our practitioners during treatments and patient interactions. It is also highly recommended that patients also practice this measure by wearing a mask when coming in for treatment. We will be providing masks with a nominal cost ( $ 1.00/ mask) if you do not have one.
